As the week of Christmas arrives, it offers a welcome opportunity to slow down and reflect after an exceptionally full and successful year.
Over the past twelve months, we accomplished a great deal. We relocated our head office into a character-rich heritage home, expanded our presence into Ontario, reached further north into the Yukon, and continued to serve increasingly remote and often overlooked communities across British Columbia. Each step reinforced our commitment to thoughtful, place-specific appraisal work—no matter how complex or geographically challenging.
At the same time, we navigated a rapidly shifting real estate market. Changing interest rates, evolving buyer sentiment, and policy adjustments kept us on our toes, requiring adaptability, diligence, and constant learning. It was a demanding year—but a rewarding one.
Christmas week is not about slowing ambition; it’s about restoring capacity. Rest sharpens judgment, renews perspective, and ensures we enter the next chapter clear-headed and energized. With our eyes already looking toward a strong and prosperous 2027, we recognize that meaningful progress starts with taking the time to pause.
