In October 2015, Jonathan Sobottka AACI, P.App. purchased Corrie Appraisals Commercial Ltd. from Paul Corrie, AACI, P.App. Since that time Paul and Jonathan worked closely together to ensure a smooth transition. The office was moved to 40 Lakeshore Drive, in the heart of Salmon Arm. As of September 1st, 2016, the company has been renamed Quality Appraisals Inc. Jonathan Sobottka, AACI, P.App.
Jonathan Sobottka is the Principal of Quality Appraisals Inc. Jonathan purchased Quality Appraisals Inc. in 2015 and has been appraising all types of real estate in various markets throughout Canada and the United States since 2009. In addition to working for fee appraisal firms, Jonathan worked for Farm Credit Canada and gained valuable experience in appraising agricultural land and large farm operations as well as equipment. He also held a senior position within a US based company, and specialized in seniors’ housing and healthcare real estate appraisal and consulting. Jonathan is an Accredited Appraiser with the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AACI, P.App.) and has his Honours BA in Economics.
Paul Corrie, AACI, P.App.
Paul lived in Salmon Arm for 30 years, was the founder of Corrie Appraisals (Commercial) Ltd. and was an Appraiser for 38 years: 8 years with the Assessment Authority in Kamloops; 8 years as an appraiser with a company in Vernon; 22 years as owner of Corrie Appraisals (Commercial) Ltd. He sold the company to Jonathan Sobottka in 2015 and has now retired on Vancouver Island.
